I cannot understand why this film was not a runaway success - ok, I understand it only too well: the (American) public wanted a stupid doll, and that is exactly what she was not. In order to really enjoy this movie one must be conversant with the Film Noir genre. While baby-sitting in a hotel, a beautiful woman begins a flirtation with one of the hotel's guests.
