g502 too heavy


I got an FK2 and much prefer it. But I feel it’s performance lives up to the price. And I'm American, too. From what I heard its kind of a tradeoff. Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. But it is not perfect and the added weight distribution could have been better and a couple of the buttons could have been made easier to reach. Do you think some of those personal preference problems you mention about the 502 could be solved with the 403?

Unfortunately I don't have a lot to base it off of. Particularly good for rich students. Its a full 20-30 grams heavier than the other two mice with its weights removed. My grip is more of a palm grip, maybe with a bit of claw from starting out with a mx518. I am not a competitive player. It depends on what you're used to, I like heavy mice but your mileage may vary. Dont see how it could be too heavy, it has removable weights. It became a costly affair to keep replacing mouse and I settled on using the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury which lasted more than the other mice and wasn’t too heavy on the pockets. I play so much of FPS games that at one point I was using up as many as two mice in one year.
Although I do play FPS games, I play many others as well. It feels great, it does feel a little heavy at first though. Thanks again for the reply's. Do you think some of those personal preference problems you mention about the 502 could be solved with the 403? Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

I tried out a G400s, thought it was too heavy and bit discomforting. The Logitech G502 Lightspeed comes with options to adjust the weight which is mighty convenient. It is a heavy mouse (for a wired one) but I doubt you'll notice it after like a week But it's got weights, so you can adjust the heaviness. The G502 was a frontrunner for me due to the extra buttons, styling, and scroll wheel but its much heavier than the other two mice. The polling rate adjuster and the RGB light controls for the logo can be found here. The lack of recent software updates and relatively barebones feature kit (most notably the lack of 5GHz wifi, biometric sensors and backlight for the capacitive buttons) prevent it from being exceptional. Not sure of the base weight, but it feels pretty light without any.
