The Trinity College Rome Campus, established in 1970, offers students an outstanding educational opportunity in the heart of one of the world’s great cities, where glorious treasures and haunting ruins of several magnificent civilizations are stage to a vibrant, modern capital.Students enjoy a superb location, excellent faculty, a broad liberal arts curriculum, stimulating fieldwork in Rome, academic excursions throughout Italy and Europe, a variety of internship opportunities and the city’s unparalleled lively cosmopolitan culture. Trinity College is pleased to offer two distinct summer options at the Rome Campus. No cases of coronavirus have been reported in Connecticut or at UConn. The scholarship is intended to help defray the cost of studying abroad in Italy and is not designed to cover the full cost of the summer program. As referenced in a recent email to the community by President Berger-Sweeney, the Trinity Rome campus, a unique study abroad experience amongst the college’s study away opportunities, will be celebrating its fiftieth anniversary.
