Pros: -Chase, the beach shuttle driver- awesome customer service, made us feel taken care of and valued as guests -The beach shuttle and use of the umbrellas, beach chairs and towels -Grounds are beautiful -Parking plentiful although for a fee -Easy drive to grocery stores, many restaurants, gas stations -Walkable beach just across the street & down a large staircase (not really great for sunbathing as it's very narrow and rocky; not great for swimming as there are no lifeguards) -Room was a good size and the extra elbow room was nice -The room was very quiet; we faced the back of the hotel, and while the view was not the greatest (some sort of recycling yard) there was no traffic Cons: -Front desk staff not welcoming nor friendly nor especially helpful -Hilton Honors Gold Member benefit of two breakfasts daily rescinded for unknown reasons; replaced with $10/day/room credit (I still don't understand the math- how do two hotel breakfasts equal $10???)
