While I personally didn't connect with the characters in this quite as much as I have in some of her other books, I still really loved all of them, and was waiting of the edge of my seat to see if they would get out of the continuous peril. Resistance is my second read of this year and it’s already one of my favorites. Many of the Jews knew that their resistance movements wouldn't "win," but it wasn't about winning; the goal was resistance and standing up to the Nazis and showing the world that they wouldn't be silenced.
